One November night in 2011, 13 women from a wide variety of church backgrounds met at Panera and hatched a plan to hold a regional Christian Women’s conference. We officially incorporated on January 5th, 2012. On March 24th, 2012 our first conference was held at the Wicomico Youth and Civic Center in Salisbury, MD. As a result of tons of prayer and word-of-mouth excitement, 400 women attended that conference.
Inspired by the success and enthusiastic feedback we received from that event, we decided to make the conference an annual event. However, we also knew that one annual conference would not be enough to satisfy this obvious hunger for connection with both God and other women. In spring and summer of 2012 we launched our first series of Bible Studies and in Fall 2012 we added our first community service project at the HALO shelter called Crafty Connections. Our praise team, GLOW (God Loves Our Worship) has been invited to perform at a number of events. The more we do, the more we see the need for this ministry and God’s powerful blessings. We can only imagine with awe what the future may bring.
